淳一と睦(Junichi and Mutsumi) at Melacca

For the 2nd times this year, we brought our friends to Melacca town for a day trip. Junichi San told me that he had been to the Kuala Selangor Firefly farm before and therefore we resorted to the second option, Melacca. The Japanese couple seems to like the nostalgia town full of precolonial buildings. Although not for once I been to the town without visiting the A Famosa fort that built by the sea few hundred years ago, but I couldn't let them miss it. The Dutch /Portugese certainly wouldn't thought that it would be that popular today or they would build an elevator too instead of the darned steps. We passed by the Stadhuys, St Paul church and bunch of building painted in red nearby the area that lead us to the Jonker walk. Lunch is no other than the famous Chicken Rice balls and the usual half hour waits. Seriously the quality is much deteriorated since my last visit but it is still not bad.
